There are sides of macaroni salad, coleslaw, potato salad - the whole "I didn't barbecue this but I bought it from someone who did" nine yards. Even biscuits. And some booze, because he's sure they can tip back beers together better than they can clink wine glasses. Even if for some reason he feels like she'd look more natural with a glass of red in her hand. He puts it all down on the table.]
